ITALIAN COOKING FULL IMMERSION
The Dolce Vita in Tuscany Cooking School is located in the small village of San Ginese, in the province of Lucca. The cooking school is on the ground floor of a 19th-century country Stonehouse. It has been restored recently with modern materials but has retained its original charm.
Italian Cooking Full Immersion PROGRAM DETAILS
This is suitable for both novice and experienced cooks. Erika, a Professional Chef (Diploma Accademia di Cucina Italiana) and Sommelier (Diploma FISAR), with 15 years of experience as a Cooking Classes Instructor, will be your guide and teacher in Italian Cooking.
Arrive on Sunday for a traditional Tuscan dinner. Start your culinary adventure Monday through Wednesday with a delicious breakfast from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
Everyday lessons (morning and afternoon) on the most important and fundamental techniques/dishes of Italian cuisine. The last day will culminate with the creation of a full Italian Menu by the students. The tastings, for the occasion and for fun, will be held by a special jury made up of chefs, sommeliers, and Italian food gourmets.
Our courses are hands-on, taught in the air-conditioned kitchen-dining room, and usually last 3 to 4 hours. The courses are very small and exclusive (6-8 people) and only use natural, seasonal, and fresh ingredients.

€ 1.000 per person based on double occupancy (double bed OR 2 single beds) in the Fiordaliso cottage (fully equipped kitchen).

What Is Included In The Price
Accommodation with self-contained bathroom. All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner every day), Wines/Beer/Coffee/Tea with Lunch and Dinner. Wine Tasting with a professional Sommelier from the Italian Sommelier Federation of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs. All lessons are from Monday through Thursday.
The driving distance from the school to the airport is about 35 minutes, and to Lucca railway station is approx. 10 minutes with no traffic. Reminder: you will have to be at the airport 2 hours prior to your flight.

Dress is casual, but closed-toed shoes (no open-toed shoes – sneakers are fine) and short-sleeved shirts or shirts with rolled-up sleeves are required for the class. We recommend that you bring clothing in case it gets warmer or cooler than expected “normal” temperatures.
Initial registration signifies acceptance of all terms and conditions stated in this brochure. Cuoche in Vacanza reserves the right to alter courses at our sole discretion when conditions permit. The Cooking School shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any injury, death, or damage arising from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, war, acts of God, weather, strikes, detention, delays, airline, or other travel-related circumstances. The right to accept or reject individuals as course participants is also reserved. The Cooking School is not responsible for damaged, lost, or forgotten items by participants. A non-refundable deposit of €300 per person is required upon registration and the balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the course. The school reserves the right to cancel the booking if the balance has not been paid 60 days before the start of the course.
Cancellations and Refunds
When making a bank transfer, all bank charges must be included in your payment. Your course is guaranteed once your deposit has been received.
The right to cancel courses is reserved to Cuoche in Vacanza Cooking School without giving reasons. If the course is canceled, all monies will be refunded and this refund will indemnify Cuoche of Vacanza from any liability.
In case of cancellation: To cancel your registration, you must send a written notice. The amount you paid will be refunded less a non-refundable deposit and a cancellation fee of EUR 200 to be determined from the date of receipt of your written notification by the Cuoche in Vacanza.
Cancellation and refund fees are 90-50 days prior to the class date, refundable less the initial deposit, and €200 administration fee. If canceled less than 50 days before the course date, 100% of the amount will not be refunded. We HIGHLY recommend travel insurance.
PLEASE NOTE – Cuoche in Vacanza HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THE PURCHASE OF TRIP INSURANCE AS CANCELLATION FEES, OUTLINED ABOVE, WILL BE CHARGED REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLATION.
