Some days ago (the Halloween ones) I went with some friends of mine in Transilvania, the Count Dracula earth.
Towns I visited (Targo Mures, Sighisoara, Brasov) were so beautiful and the food was really great; I couldn’t imagine the high level.
Really lucky to be there with Ciprian, a Romanian boy who guided us; our goal was the Count Dracula Castle, but we visited many unthinkable places, thanks to him.
If you plan to go there I suggest you renting a car or a minivan, ‘couse countryside,
The first night we slept at the Central Park Hotel in Sighisoara, 55Km from Targo Mures.
We paid 90€ in Total, 4 people in a fantastic delux Suite; thanks to booking and to my friend Federica who booked for us.
We had the dinner at the Hotel Restaurant; excellent food, nicely presented dishes, low prices.
The day after we went to Brasov and we slept at the Pantex Hotel, a not so special one, but with a free parking and near the downtown (not so easy finding both).
There are many nice, characteristic and really good restaurants: I suggest you Festival 39 (a Liberty Style one) and Sergiana.

PS: Ryan Air has a direct fly to Targu Mures from Pisa, but not during the winter.

Thanks for your advice, I had to go there next week.
